Beginners Course
This intensive course is of 30 weeks duration and will cover everything you need to know to prepare you for working in a professional salon.

Both practical and theoretical knowledge combine together to give the trainee a unique understanding of not only the craft itself, but how to adapt these skills to become successful in a commercial working environment.

This course will lead the trainee to a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) at Level 2. This Foundation Certificate is awarded by City and Guilds.
One day advanced workshops
Advanced styling, colouring and perming workshops can all be arranged either individually or by combining two or more skills together.
If lack of time in a busy schedule,or business commitments prevents you from updating your skills and knowledge, a one day advanced training workshop will send you back to your salon full of new thoughts and ideas without committing yourself to a lengthy course.
Obviously there is a limit to what you can learn in one day, but a little and often is far better than letting the latest techniques and ideas pass you by.

Young stylist course
This one-week course has been carefully designed for the recently qualified student who is gaining valuable salon experience but who needs to build on the basic skills they learnt during their initial training period.
Individual learning programmes are developed together with you, to help identify any work areas you may have and your strengths are built upon to give you greater confidence to put them to good use when working with your clients.
The Young Stylist Course will enable you to go away motivated with new thoughts and ideas, and the confidence to put them to good use in the salon.
2 week Refresher course
The NVQs.com Training Refresher Course is ideal for the established stylist who feels the need to update their skills and learn the latest, up to date techniques in styling, colouring and permanent wave.
These will be developed by a combination of demonstration and practical sessions, together with the theory appropriate to each new learning skill.
The course will also give the student a greater level of confidence to be able to adapt these new techniques and ideas when they return to their own salon environment.
